Case Study

Deciding which model to use:
The Case Studies shown here were conducted by Long Term Care nurses who were very impressed by their own experiences using DermaSaver. They volunteered to conduct case studies to track the healing progress and results of their patients before and after using DermaSaver products. The patients in these case studies had moderate to severely compromised skin integrity and/or wounds.  The nurses used our DermaSaver “Clinical” products which have two layers of 3mm MicroSpring textile. The new DermaSaver “Casual” products are designed for active, community-dwelling people with periodic mild skin issues. The DermaSaver Casual products are more flexible and lighter which make them more attractive to community-dwelling individuals. They have one layer of 3mm MicroSpring textile and a layer of stretchable knit polyester. The choice to use Clinical vs Causal product involves many variables that are best decided by a clinician or informed consumer. A commonsense way to decide is by visually observing the skin of the person in need. If the skin looks like any of the case study "before" photos, the "Clinical" product would be the best choice.  And conversely, if the skin looks much better than the "before" photo, but still has room for improvement, the "Casual" product would be the choice. The MicroSpring textile base fabric in both the DermaSaver Clinical and DermaSaver Casual products reduce skin tears, pressure sores, and bruises and aids in the healing process.
